NOTE! if you are installing this version and have a old version please
BACKUP! your database before installing this program.
VIDEO BUFF INSTALLATION
To install "VIDEO BUFF" make a seperate directory for the program
i.e. "MKDIR VIDEO".
Copy all programs from the disk to the new directory
i.e. "COPY A:*.* C:".
To start the "VIDEO BUFF" change the directory to "VIDEO".
Enter "VIDEO" to start the "VIDEO BUFF".

Major Features
*************************************************************************
VIDEO BUFF is a video tape tracking program. The program is menu driven
and easy to use. The user most likely will never use the manual except
for installation.
The program is written in DBASE III the converted to compile under
Clipper 5.0.
The program features are listed below:
1. Add video tapes names to list
Before a name is added duplicates are checked and displayed on
the screen for the user. The user can then decide to add or edit
the entry.
2. Display or Edit record. If name is not found the user can add
name directly. Full screen editing is allowed.
3. Delete any record as required.
4. Print video tape labels on several formats.
5. Special topic/subject search for locating recorded programs
6. Separate Duplication search feature for video tape list
maintainance.
7. Statistics are kept and displayed to the user on how many tapes
and type for the video tape library.

9. Database size is dependent on disk space.
10. Approximate records stored on a 1.2 MB floppy is 2,200.
11. Approximate records stored on a 30 MB Hard Drive is 62,500.

Instructions for converting your database to Version 1.21
compatibility.
1. Save the database to a remote disk
2. Install Video Buff Version 1.30
3. start Video Buff Version 1.30
4. restore your database from version 1.22 or earlier
5. The database program has now been updated.
